Next.js Development Company in India

GOSHU Digital is a Next.js development company in India that builds fast, search-friendly websites and web apps with Next.js, React and TypeScript. We work with businesses that have outgrown a page builder, need a slow site rebuilt, or want a custom web app without the overheads of a large agency. The pages we build arrive as complete HTML, are designed to load quickly on an ordinary Android phone, and come with the metadata Google needs.

We can take on Next.js projects remotely for clients anywhere in India, in English or Hindi. If you are near Rohtak, Haryana, we can meet in person in Rohtak by appointment.

Why businesses choose Next.js for their website

Next.js is a framework built on React. Its main advantage for a business website is simple: pages are prepared on the server or generated ahead of time, so visitors and search engines receive finished HTML instead of an empty page that fills in only after JavaScript runs. That one decision affects speed, search visibility and how your links look when people share them.

  • Search engines see your content immediately. Titles, descriptions, headings and body text are in the HTML, so crawlers do not have to run JavaScript to find them.
  • Link previews work on WhatsApp and social apps. The preview title, description and image come from server-rendered tags, and preview bots generally do not run JavaScript.
  • Pages stay light on mid-range phones. Static and server-rendered pages send less JavaScript to the browser, which matters on budget Android devices and patchy mobile data.
  • Fewer doors for attackers. A statically generated marketing site has no plugin admin panel or public database for bots to probe, although the framework itself still needs regular security updates.
  • Room to grow. The same codebase can later add logins, dashboards, booking flows, APIs or an AI chatbot for your website without moving to a new platform.

Next.js is not the right answer for every business. If your team publishes several posts a day and depends on WordPress plugins, WordPress may suit you better. Our Next.js vs WordPress guide compares the two honestly, including running costs.

Our Next.js development services

These are the kinds of Next.js work we take on. Most projects combine two or three of them.

New Next.js websites and web apps

Company websites, landing pages for ad campaigns, product catalogues, member areas and internal tools. We use the App Router, write the code in TypeScript and style it with Tailwind CSS, so the project is typed, consistent and easy for another developer to pick up later.

WordPress and React to Next.js migration

A platform move is where rankings are most often lost, usually because old URLs stop working or page titles disappear. We map every old URL to its new address with 301 redirects, carry over titles, descriptions and structured data, submit a fresh sitemap and watch Search Console after launch. The full SEO-safe checklist is on our website redesign service page.

We also move single-page React apps to Next.js, including projects built on Create React App, which the React team deprecated in 2025, so their pages can be indexed properly.

Headless CMS development

If your team needs to edit pages, blog posts or products without calling a developer, we connect Next.js to a headless CMS. A common middle path is keeping WordPress as the editing back end while Next.js serves the public site: your staff keep a familiar editor and visitors get the faster front end.

Next.js storefronts and integrations

Custom catalogues and checkouts with Razorpay and other gateways that support UPI, cards and net banking, plus Next.js front ends for Shopify stores that need more design freedom than a theme allows. Our ecommerce website development page covers platform choice in detail.

Upgrades and rescue of existing Next.js projects

Inherited a Next.js codebase from a developer who is no longer around? We review it, upgrade outdated versions, move Pages Router code to the App Router where that pays off, and apply security patches. Patching matters: 2025 brought a middleware authorisation bypass (CVE-2025-29927) and a critical remote-code-execution flaw in React Server Components (CVE-2025-55182), and both called for prompt upgrades. If speed is the main complaint, our website speed optimization service starts with a measured audit.

Built for Indian users, payments and networks

A site that tests well on office Wi-Fi can still struggle on a crowded 4G connection in a smaller town. We build and test for the conditions your customers actually have.

  • Mobile first: layouts designed for small screens, with tap-to-call buttons and WhatsApp click-to-chat links that open the app directly.
  • Light pages: images served in modern formats at the right size, fonts loaded efficiently, and third-party scripts kept off pages that do not need them.
  • Indian payments: Razorpay and other gateways that support UPI, cards, net banking and wallets, with clear failure and retry screens.
  • English and Hindi: bilingual sites with correct language tags, and Devanagari fonts trimmed so Hindi pages do not download heavy font files.
  • Hosting close to your users: deployment on platforms with edge locations in India, such as Cloudflare or Vercel, or on an Indian cloud region if your data needs to stay in the country.

Hire a Next.js developer: how engagements work

Some businesses want a finished website for an agreed price. Others need ongoing developer time for a product that keeps changing. We offer three ways to work together and will suggest the one that fits your situation, not the one that bills the most.

Next.js engagement models compared
ModelBest forHow scope and billing work
Fixed-scope projectNew websites, migrations and builds with a clear briefPages, features and acceptance criteria are agreed in writing, then quoted as one price for that scope. Anything outside it is quoted separately.
Monthly retainerBusinesses that need regular updates, new pages and small featuresA set amount of development each month, planned together and reported at the end of the month.
Hours in your codebaseStartups and product teams with their own repository and a running backlogWe work on agreed tasks in your repository, using your task board and calls, billed by the hours agreed for the month.

Every engagement is quoted in writing after a scoping conversation, with the deliverables for each stage spelled out before work starts.

How a Next.js project runs

  1. Discovery and scope

We look at your current site, analytics and competitors, agree what the new site must do, and write down the pages, features and integrations before any code is written.

  2. Structure and design

The page structure and URL plan come first, then mobile-first designs for the key templates, so you approve the look before the build starts.

  3. Build and review

We build in TypeScript on a private preview link that you can open on your own phone, and share progress as each part is ready.

  4. Pre-launch checks

Titles, descriptions, canonical tags, the sitemap, redirects, forms and payment flows are checked, and speed is tested on a throttled mobile connection, before anything goes live.

  5. Launch and handover

We deploy the site, connect your domain and Google Search Console, and hand over access to the code and the accounts involved.

  6. Support after launch

Updates, security patches and new features continue through a monthly retainer or a website maintenance plan, if you want them.

How to choose a Next.js development company in India

Our projects use Next.js, React, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS. This website is built on the same stack and deployed on Cloudflare, so you can judge our work by using it: open any page, view the source, and you will find the full text already in the HTML. The Goshu India website, featured below, is another live Next.js site we built.

Before you hire any Next.js developer, including us, run these quick checks:

  • Open their live sites and view the page source. Real content should be in the HTML, not an empty container waiting for JavaScript.
  • Check that each page has its own title and description, rather than one copied across the whole site.
  • Load their sites on your own phone over mobile data, not office Wi-Fi.
  • Ask who will own the code repository, the domain and the hosting account. The answer should be your business.
  • Ask how they handle Next.js security advisories after launch, and who applies the updates.

Frequently asked questions

Is Next.js the right choice for my business website?

Usually, if speed, search visibility and room to grow matter to you. Next.js suits company websites, catalogues, landing pages and web apps. It is a weaker fit if you want to install plugins and change the site's features yourself without a developer, although a headless CMS covers most day-to-day editing.

Our Next.js vs WordPress guide walks through the trade-offs in detail.

What does GOSHU charge for a Next.js website?

It depends on the number of page templates, integrations such as payments or a CMS, how much content needs moving, and whether you want support after launch. We quote every project in writing once the scope is clear, so you know the full cost before work starts.

For typical market ranges and what drives them, read our website development cost guide.

Can we hire you to work in our own codebase instead of paying per project?

Yes. Agreed monthly hours suit startups and product teams with their own repository and a running backlog. We agree the hours and priorities with you, work in your repository and tools, and review progress together regularly. Rates are quoted on request because they depend on the hours and the skills the work needs.

Will moving my site to Next.js affect my Google rankings?

It can if old URLs break or page titles and descriptions are lost during the move. A careful migration, with a 301 redirect for every changed URL, metadata carried over and Search Console monitored after launch, is designed to keep the rankings you have earned. Expect some movement while Google recrawls the site.

The migration section above links to the full checklist on our website redesign page.

Who should own the code and the hosting account?

Your business. We recommend that the code repository, domain and hosting account are registered in your company's name from the start, so you are never locked in to one developer. Whoever you hire, get this confirmed in writing before the project begins.

Can you take over a Next.js site another developer built?

Yes. We start with a code review covering the Next.js and React versions, known security advisories, build errors and performance, then give you a written list of what to fix first. After that we can keep it updated on a retainer or a maintenance plan.

Can you add an AI chatbot or booking flow to a Next.js site?

Yes. The same codebase can take logins, booking flows, payment links and other integrations later, without moving to a new platform. A chat assistant can be added as a component that loads after the main content, so it does not slow the page down.
